Biyaheng EDSA shows the significance of our culture especially in communication bacause as Howie Severino discussed on how people power succeed. Having watch the I witness episode strike a chord in me. I notice that communication is the way or instrument of 2 Million Filipinos who won the revolution without blood flowed and weapons that might hurt others because the only thing they show is their wants to have freedom for Philippines, even though we have alot of differences in culture and beliefs. Revolution promises all the right and freedom for all, but others make it so unfair for others. So were is one nation one people.The number one issue until now is the gap between the poor and the rich, that the very important thing to do is to narrow the gap between the life of a poor and a rich, but being a poor doen’t mean you have no rights to be treat as a person, because even the poorest family deserve to live in a descent and friendly community. Another one is the differences of our cultures and beliefs although we have differences but we being a filipino have the attitude of being respectful and humble specially of being hospitable. We can nurture the cultures that we have and what we believe even though we are in a latest generation or what we called globalization, being globalize.But the thing is that we succesfully won, to have right and freedom, to reach all our goal and what we want. A freedom in wich we can express our feelings thougths and even in action. So as long as their is communication there is no misunderstanding and breakdowns. So as generation passes, we should still continuously doing the right communication, because the holistic part of being communicated is to avoid breakdowns and misunderstanding. Because filipinos are known also as a best communicator. Even though we been being colonize by other country.We all know that Philippines can uphold others and can unite together as one.
